Driven by a passion for empowering individuals with the resources, connections, and skills they need to achieve sustainable employment.

The Problem

Structural unemployment, intergenerational poverty, and inflation are a disastrous combination. In March, 2022, the unemployment rate in Cuyahoga County was 6.8%, more than double the US's 3.6%.  27.32% of those not working are living in poverty. The U.S. consumer price index has risen 9.1% from a year earlier in a broad-based advance, the largest increase since the end of 1981, reflecting higher gasoline, shelter, and food costs.

Mission

To empower individuals with the skills, resources, and connections needed to achieve meaningful and sustainable employment, leading to greater economic mobility and a stronger workforce across the United States.

According to a report by the National Skills Coalition, every $1 invested in workforce readiness programs results in a return of $11.97 in economic activity.

Employers are usually happy with the people they hire who have completed job training programs. In fact, 87% of employers said they were satisfied with the performance of people who completed a job training program.

Job training programs can help the economy by creating more jobs, increasing wages, and filling important jobs in different industries. Some studies show that for every $1 spent on job training programs, there can be a return of $11.97 in economic activity.
